Help finding a DVR

Hello, I have been looking for an 8 channel H.264 DVR with some of the following features but am having a hard time finding one . I was hoping to find one for under $1000.00 if possible

I need the following features:

1. Be able to Playback All 8 channels at the same time, (such as in a 3x3 grid pattern) and then be able to view any of those 8 channels in full screen 2. Log motion detection events when record mode is set on Always. 3. Has VGA output. I do not really need a CD burner.

 

I currently have a 4 channel dvr that can do these things but I now need an 8 channel unit. If someone could give me the names of some manufacturers or model # of some units that can support these things it would be greatly appreciated

Scorpion, Thanks for your quick reply. The CPCam avtech KPD676 sounds just what I'm looking for. I searched the web and some places say this is an mpeg4 not H.264, Is that correct? I would like the h.264

Also I can't really find any sellers that have this model, Could you please point me to some sellers who have this model.

Thanks again for you quick reply.

The Avtech KPD676 is exactly what I am looking for, It looks exactly like an 8 channel version of the 4 ch. unit I have now, which I am pretty such is a rebranded avtech, the cosmetics on the two units are exactly the same.

 

The only other question I had was if you know of any reputable sellers that carry the KPD676? I only see one seller when I google and they are in asia and shipping is outrageous.

Do you know of any U.S. sellers that carry this model, even on ebay would be ok. I just can't find anyone who sells this model.

I do not know of any sources.

 

I wanted to be the USA source, but I could never get enough people to buy from all over the states.

 

Then the economy went down hill, and made everything worse.

 

I wanted to carry replacement parts such as external, and internal power supplys, fans, and parts, and spare HDD keys for the older models ect.

 

I will have to put off my "dream" for a while. There is always next year, and I can hardly wait.
