RAJEEV 0 Posted November 30, 2009 Thanks but how to fix audio chip error, and it reboots the DVR every two minutes
scorpion 0 Posted November 30, 2009 I do not know what to tell you. Do you have anything plugged in to the audio? If yes, then unplug the audio input, and outputs. If you still have the code then do a system hardware reset. http://scorpiontheater.com/reset.aspx Hopefully this will clear out the trouble. If the hardware reset does not work then the chip inside has blown. You will have to return it to where you bought it under a warranty. If it is not under a warranty then you will have to find an electronics shop that has the ability to remove, and install the chip. Finding the chip will be hard. They are easy to find in lots of 100 or 1000 but not as one piece. Sorry to tell you the sad news.
RAJEEV 0 Posted December 1, 2009 Well the unit is out of warranty,, There are no audio inputs or o/p connected to the dvr, & also after the Hardware reset does the dvr reboots or something, I am not sure the hardware reboot is performing as the dvr status is not affected.. thanks
