LQ1985 0 Posted December 14, 2009 I narrowed down my search the best I can, this is my 1st time putting together my own setup. I do have an MPEG4 DVR standalone in my other business, which has been great to me thus far. 120FPS Cards: NUUO SCB-3008: (120FPS): $375.00 GeoVision GV-800-8 (120FPS): $564.00 OR Upgrade: Avermedia NV6240E (240FPS) $569.44 NUUO SCB-5008 (240FPS) $624.75 Card Options: Any work better with a smartphone (Iphone) which you guys know of? Also I am also confused on this and maybe someone can enlighten me. When I buy any of the cards above, do they come with their own software where I can view from home/cell? or do I have to purchase them separate? I wont be using alot of features expect motion detection and viewing from home/cell. Thanks in advance!

koolmer 0 Posted December 15, 2009 Usually there is always Software delivered together with the card. You have to check the Website if the Software fits your needs or simply call them. I have never used remote viewing on a cell phone, but many Softwares do support that.

suky 0 Posted December 31, 2009 Thank you guys, I went with the Geovision. Seems these are quality cards and have good forum support. Actually, the standalone dvr system has longer performance life, and some support Iphone remote live view!
