missmimi 0 Posted December 18, 2009 Hi everyone, My customer is having a 16 channel DVR and currently it can't display the full 16 channels when they want to. The display is blank on the TV screen. I can't find any reliable technician to repair it. By the way, can it be repaired? Please advise what is causing the problem. Thanks in advance!
Soundy 1 Posted December 18, 2009 Pretty hard for anyone here to do anything with the limited information provided... What make and model of DVR? What do you mean by "can't display the 16 channels"? Can it display fewer channels? Single channels? Is the screen always blank, or only on the 16-channel layout? "What is causing the problem" could be dozens of things, not the least of which is user error.

Soundy 1 Posted December 18, 2009 Does it power up at all? Make any beeps or anything? If it has a "Spot" output, do you get video from that?
securitymonster 0 Posted December 18, 2009 When did the monitor stop working? Was there a power surge? Is the DVR protected by a UPS or some sort of surge protection?

Has anyone heard of Panorama brand? I'm not sure if this is the brand.
