thewireguys 3 Posted December 24, 2009 I was reading one of my security magazines and I came across VideoNext NVR software. They are the only NVR software that I know of that recording (Server) runs on MAC OS. I know people have been asking about NVR software for MAC so here it is....... http://www.videonext.com I wounder if the client software runs on Windows or Linux? hardwired 0 Posted December 24, 2009 The client is totally browser based (with Flash), will run on almost anything. Not bad stuff, and is more reasonably priced than you'd think, given the features. The server will run on Mac, or a custom build of Red Hat Linux.

To bad a Mac server is twice as much as a Windows, Linux box.
rory 0 Posted December 24, 2009 if they tried im sure others can get something running in wine .. but i still question why anyone would torture themselves with such a limited mac os ... as to the videonext software, i passed the info onto a mac freak and they werent interested either .. no screen shots or any kind of technical info on their site ..
