Question on secBo CCTV System, what is the H.264 and MPEG4?

Hello,

 

I have purchased a 16 channel CCTV DVR set in secBo website and checked that they do have a cheaper version on MPEG4 format, what sort of quality can I expect a MPEG4 when comaring to a H.264 system? From the manual the secBo system uses 1TB HDD that can record about 2 weeks in highest quality, if I use MPEG4 instead, how long it can record?
