FIERCE4203 0 Posted January 8, 2010 6 month old install rack mounted dvr. Computer guy came over and shut down the entire rack without proper shut down dvr. Getting a error on HD tried reformatting and adding to no avail. keep on getting reformat errors. Tech support stated Have to remove the whole dvr can't just bring back the HD. Anyone have problems with HD's so quick after new install? yes i have seen this a few times. when you first put new H/Drives in your dvr they will format. and you cant format them again (to stop people removing footage) what you will have to do is remove all H/Drives and format them on another machine or on your pc. then reinstall them.
