iacherra 0 Posted January 18, 2010 Can I connect my DVD player with a component output to a VGA input for my Projector? I have a Yamaha DVD player with S-Video and Component Video outputs. My Sony Projector has both an S-Video and a VGA input. Naturally, I can put S-Video out on my DVD player to S-Video in to my projector. Can I put Component Video outputs from my DVD player to the VGA input on my Projector. If so, would I need just a cable with an adaptor or some kind of box to convert? ____________________ affiliateelite ~ affiliateelite.com ~ adgooroo ~ adgooroo.com
bpzle 0 Posted January 29, 2010 What's the model of your projector? IF your projector is designed to take a component in, via the VGA port than this will work. http://www.amazon.com/Female-Double-Shielded-Component-Adaptor-Computer/dp/B000I21Y9G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1264740661&sr=8-2 If it is not, then this will have to do: http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Ypbpr-Component-RGB-Converter/dp/B002SFT3ZI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1264740823&sr=1-
