jacan 0 Posted April 12, 2005 Hi, I've posted this before in other subforum, with no response. Let's see if there's more luck here: I want to Know if a NON day-night camera like SONY SNC-CS3 is able to catch IR light or not. I have a set of IR lamps installed and I'd like to use them, but I'm instaling SNC-CS3 cameras, that is always COLOR mode with 0,5 lux sensibility, but it hasn't day-night mode like SNC-Z20. Would it be any difference if i turn my IR lamps on at night? or I look for the next recicle bin to drop my IR lamps?? Thanks in advance. Rds.
rory 0 Posted April 12, 2005 Not unless the camera specs say otherwise. Generally, no it wont.
cctvron 0 Posted April 15, 2005 before tossing the lamps try using a IR lens. This though the camera does not have an IR Cut filter it will truly help with the picture
