jets 0 Posted February 4, 2010 Greetings: I always spec a day/ nite wide dynamic cam when targeting entryways etc. having lots of daylight component. I'm not fond of the images I get from Honeywell's HD4U cam, and they can be a bear to properly set up the DSP. Although Honeywell's camera bodies/ enclosures are excellent from an installation, durability standpoint (IMO). I'd appreciate recommendations based on experience with Day/ nite wide or 'ultra-wide' dynamic indoor analog domes. Thanks
hardwired 0 Posted February 4, 2010 The Pelco IS90-CWV9 is a pretty good indoor D/N WDR dome, and it installs pretty easy. I've also had decent luck with deView cams, they also have models with the Pixim chipset. deView also has a five year warranty, and an advance replacement option. jets 0 Posted February 5, 2010 Thanks for suggestions. Will look into them. Unfortunately its difficult to know how a unit will perform until one buys it and installs it.
