CoolDude 0 Posted April 14, 2005 I am looking for a unit to replace my VHS machine and was curious if anyone has experience with this particular unit. I can find the specs but no pricing on the net. Or I am open to suggestions for any suitable machine as I am running 16 color cameras through a Robot multiplexer to a Pelco VHS. Pricing would have to not exceed $1500. rory 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Ive used the DSR units before. They are by GE now: DSR-2000e, or the DSR-1000e They work with the Robot Muxes. Rory
MetzLyov 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Do you want to keep your 16 channel multiplexer? If so, there are 1 channel DVRs available (some come without hard drives (basic hardware and its own cage) that allows you to put whatever size hard drive you want) that are very cost effective. Some of them are from Sanyo, GE Security and Ganz, all of which come with 3 years warranty!.... Please let me know and I can refer you a good solution! MetzLyov 0 Posted April 16, 2005 Here are some of the options: 1. Sanyo DVRs - http://reliablecctv.com/alt_pdfs/Sanyo%20DSR-300%20Single%20Channel%20DVR,%20Caddy%20without%20HDD_Specs-060104.pdf 2. Ganz DVRs - http://reliablecctv.com/alt_pdfs/COMPUTAR%20CDR-01SN%201%20channel%20DVR%20no%20hard%20disk%20drive.pdf 3. Bosch DVRs - http://reliablecctv.com/alt_pdfs/Bosch%20DVR1A1081%201%20ch%20DVR%2060%20IPS%2080G.pdf Sanyo's & Ganz's versions come with or without hard drives, thus you can add whatever size hard drive you want. Bosch comes with basic 80G and 160G hard drives... If you need help to find these products, please let me know. Levon
