mozzz 0 Posted February 8, 2010 Is there a way to do without cables and use the mains of the house as the network to connect normal cameras to. i.e cameras that usually are wired direct to the DVR box? These mains networking kits use Cat 5 cabling compatible with network cameras but can you use normal cameras with say a BNC to RJ45 coupler? Just imagine how much easier it would be if it were possible to do away with unsightly wires. Hope you can help. Maurice
