bogstandard 0 Posted February 14, 2010 Hello, I am using a PC (it's a low spec p3 900mhz with 384mb ram) The software is H264 WebCam 3.65 (http://www.h264soft.com/) Card is a conextant PCI 4 port. If I have one cam installed no problem with 640/480 cam res, I plug 2nd cam in with same res and the cams flicker back and fouth and even record like this. If I move the res down to 320/something it's fine. Does that sound normal operation to you? I emailed the website but no reply. Thanks very much Martin
Harrar 0 Posted February 14, 2010 Sounds like a problem with your video board driver. Check the web to see if you have the latest and greatest driver. Where are you located? Is the board configured for NTSC or PAL?
bogstandard 0 Posted February 14, 2010 Hi, Well I am using Universal WDM Video Capture Driver from http://www.fgeng.com/drivers.htm My uncle gave me the card which was from his works upgrade. Setup as Conexant Bt878 NTSC XEVK , I am in the UK which is PAL (states being NTSC?) Here are some screen shots.... but it's not right to be forced to drop the cam res it is? I also have which i suspect is a clone card (techwell tw6805a) which is 50/60fps and works a treat on the suspected cracked software (another app) but 1st it's dodgy so we don't support and 2nd there is no option for changing smtp port or selecting ssl login for emailing motion dection so it's usless plus my paid up software does not even see it. I am using a 3g modem on my XP setup as I just bought a house but I live there only a max of 4 days every 8. I would like to keep an eye on the house that's all. Cheers

Soundy 1 Posted February 14, 2010 My money is on either faulty wiring (signal leaking between the two runs), or a faulty card...
