Where to buy Kalatel DVR?

I am new to all this CCTV stuff but am curious where is the most reliable place with good prices to buy Kalatel DVR's, or any other brand that you would recommend. What is the top 3 to 5 brands and where are good places to purchase them?

 

I have done some research on this forum and other places, but it is really confusing for a beginner.

Hi, are you a dealer or an end user?

 

Best place to buy if you are a dealer, is from the nearest distributor to your location. i buy from Miami as thats the closest to me. Even if they dont have it on their line card they normally can get it for you, this goes for any brand. Get pricing from a couple distributors to find out which is the cheapest in your area for the products you are buying. The pushy ones, normally will be able to get you a lower price .. they are the true salesmen. Tell them you normally buy from another dist and then they will have something to work with on price.

 

After all the lower you can buy the product for, the lower it is for your clients.

 

As for the Kalatel DVRs, there is no special rock bottom online store for these unfortunately, just your local distributors. If you want a dealer price list email me. Your distributor will normally be around the listed dealer price, more or less. Mind you I found a distributor in Miami that does have the best prices on these DVRs that I have encountered so far, the DVMRe-CT at least.

Just out of curiousity rory, I know you don't ship to the US, but how come you don't drop ship?

Working on that .. i just applied for Mailboxes Etc to get a US street address, as I need that for a US merchant account. I didnt know I could get a street address unless I was living over there.

 

So hopefully next few weeks ill start selling online. I have a couple distributors that will drop ship for me now, including the brands like GE, Provideo, etc, Iview, and also the PowerTelecomm DVRs.

 

I actually had a large online catelog including alarm systems, but took them off last year until I get it all straight.

Only problem is right now im working on 2 web sites for other people, including a Bikini Design Line, a Shopping Cart, and then also my Real Estate Site ... so its alot of work right now ...
