billeh 0 Posted February 22, 2010 We have a potential upcoming installation with 2 cameras being installed in a pool area that is very humid. Could anyone advise me on how best to protect the camera, and the connection from corroding, or the lens fogging up? We will be using vandal-proof outdoor cameras. Thanks! ronbo 0 Posted February 22, 2010 as long as the heater works they should be fine i check a few the other week and was ok,, some external housings can be installed with wipers. and shouldnt get to much corrosion as there shouldnt be too much slt in the air which is why most housings corrode. billeh 0 Posted February 23, 2010 We aren't using environmental enclosures... just outdoor vandal domes. the room is already quite warm and super humid, so im curious to see if anyone else has run into any issues in this type of environment..
