mclement60 0 Posted February 23, 2010 To start off, are standard cameras as good as IP cameras and using ip cameras with hardware dvr's compared to software dvr's. There is a lot to choose from out there. What is the the difference. I would like an unbiased no salesman opinion. Thanks for any input.
bpzle 0 Posted February 26, 2010 To start off, are standard cameras as good as IP cameras In what application? If there's plenty of light then megapixel IP cams will blow ANY camera out of the water. No light or low light? Analog cameras are king. and using ip cameras with hardware dvr's compared to software dvr's. Say what? Define "hardware" DVRs and "software" DVRs. Do you mean DVR vs NVR? Do you mean NVR vs Hybrid? Do you mean standalone AKA embedded vs PC based?
