videomonitoring 0 Posted February 23, 2010 I have a customer who is looking for a 5MP camera that has PTZ capabilities. In my research, many are stating that MP cameras are removing the need for PTZ controls since you can drill into any part of the image. Is this true? So...what product should i recommend to this customer.

bpzle 0 Posted February 25, 2010 Sanyo makes a 4MP camera with 10x optical zoom. You'd have to get a pan/ tilt device seperately. Not sure how you could pair the 2 different devices with one set of PTZ controls though...

If you come up with anything, let us know... The one I listed above (VCC-HD4600) looks pretty good, though.
