csgators 0 Posted February 23, 2010 I am an IT guy for a few small buisness and one of them gave me a usb drive with a .pw3 file extension he saved off his 4104n model DVR. Can anyone point me to a download that will allow me to view it. It is video of an accident and he wants to make sure the video is saved properly but I can't find anything to play it. Thanks in advance.
Birdman Adam 0 Posted February 24, 2010 I believe that a .pw3 extension is for the 'Pulse Player' software. When I googled it, it said that it was only an audio player, so the file you have is only audio... Kinda useless for an accident if you ask me! Have you tried to open it using normal video/audio player like VLC or Windows Media Player?
csgators 0 Posted February 24, 2010 Its a 25 meg file, I honestly had the same problem 2 years ago and found a download to play it, but I worked for a different company and no longer have the file. I think it was an Argus player (maybe) but everything I see now only connects to the IP of a camera. I am going to have to swing by and get more info on the DVR I guess. it's the third one listed here: http://www.timelapsesupply.com/securitydvr.shtml
