dnsource 0 Posted March 3, 2010 So I ordered my AVTECH DVR model avc756 online along with 8 cameras. The install guy came in today and set everything up but when we went to test it out the image came out in black and white. I know its not the cameras because he tested them on directly a monitor he brought. The image looked so much more clearer and in color. What could this be???? rory 0 Posted March 3, 2010 Pressing enter 4 times is probably in user mode. Make sure you enter as an admin. Default Admin password should be 0000
dnsource 0 Posted March 3, 2010 sorry for being annoying. i got in with the 0000 but I cant seem to find where to stop the recording.
rory 0 Posted March 4, 2010 I dont know that particular DVR but try just hitting the stop button on the DVR. Or go into the menu and look for Recording and then look for stop in that sub menu. If you disconnect or power down all cameras and reboot the DVR, then it may also stop recording.
dnsource 0 Posted March 4, 2010 Problem Resolved!!! All I did was turn the unit off and right when it powered back it adjusted the settings on it's own. I messed with all the recording setings on the menu before. Let's hope it still records
