cglaeser 0 Posted March 5, 2010 The newly released exacqVision 4.0 web server is quite nice. The implementation includes both a simple stripped down interface that will run on a phone's browser, and a more advanced interface that has features similar to the desktop client. thewireguys 3 Posted March 5, 2010 And it works without ActiveX so it works on every browser and web enabled phone...... no plugs into install
hardwired 0 Posted March 5, 2010 Biggest improvement (to me) is the option for playback through the web interface, too. The availability of the down-sampled images makes viewing through low bandwidth connection easier. Anyone worked with the active directory stuff yet? I'm looking at a large (90+) camera install using the Enterprise add-on with AD and the nested mapping.
thewireguys 3 Posted March 5, 2010 Does the (+ and - Size) work for you guys.... in the web browser? Before I would reduce the size of the image but now it looks like it adjusts the image quality.
cglaeser 0 Posted March 5, 2010 Does the (+ and - Size) work for you guys.... in the web browser? Before I would reduce the size of the image but now it looks like it adjusts the image quality. Size works for me as expected in simple mode, but in advanced mode, while it does reduce the number of pixels, it does not reduce the size of the image, which becomes extremely pixelated when the size is very small. I'm guessing that's the behavior you are experiencing too. However, I think you can get the behavior you want by using one of the grids that has very small images. The frame rate jumps up considerably, so I think it is automatically reducing the image size to match the grid size, even when the Size percent is left at 100%. thewireguys 3 Posted March 5, 2010 Yea you are correct but in the previous versions the size + - would adjust the overall size if the image so I wounder if it was over looked.... I will ask next time I call.
cglaeser 0 Posted March 5, 2010 When using the Search Window in Advanced Mode, is it possible to see the date/time a sequence was recorded? Best, Christopher
rory 0 Posted March 5, 2010 And it works without ActiveX so it works on every browser and web enabled phone...... no plugs into install To clarify it still requires a javascript enabled browser as far as we know?
cglaeser 0 Posted March 5, 2010 To clarify it still requires a javascript enabled browser as far as we know? I have not tested it, but I don't think javascript is required in simple mode because they also include a refresh button. Best, Christopher
