Anyone know where it's at, or have tips for me. I'm rebuilding my Windows XP Geovision PC. Thank you Mike Hi Mike The thread was removed as I cannot vouch for 8.3 versions which seem to have alot of "issues"compared to previous versions, and also more persons have begun to use Windows 7 which the article was not made for. Original version here though, still good for XP: http://www.bahamassecurity.com/tweakgeovision.asp though additionally I have setup XP with even less services, and Geo 8.12 has been fine for a long time on those DVRs. One can use my eServices tweak app and at the minimal just check the firewall and audio boxes and it should perform good. I also changed the desktop and startmenu items but that could be a personal customization anyway based on the installer. So essentially the only real change are the services. http://www.bahamassecurity.com/eservicesxp.asp If unsure one could do a full XP install and just do the other tweaks. Dont forget the Recovery DVD or Recovery USB/SDCard.
