bryan1656 0 Posted April 21, 2005 I've seen one with a 16 cam system. Seemed like good kit, to me. Here's a link to their specs.. http://www.americandynamics.net/products/intellex_DVMS.aspx
MetzLyov 0 Posted April 21, 2005 Excellent product... Expensive, but does deliver the goods. They had some serious problems last few years with their power supplies and specially their Maxtor hard drives, but in the recent months, major improvements. Keep away from conventional Intellex, rather stay with their rack mountable version. It is built much better, using better components and much cooler (they are using 3 fans vs. 2 fans in conventional version). Also, keep away from their older version systems, because you will face the same problems described above... This product comes with 3 years warranty on everything except hard drives (go and figure). If you talk to Sensormatic (ADT Retail), the warranty is only 1 year and try to figure that one out as well... We sell quite of few of these units in any hard drive configuration. They do have 4 channel, 8 channel and 16 channel models and total of (3) configurations - STANDARD, DELUX & PREMIER... All in all, it is considered a hi end DVR and it does work well...
