bpzle 0 Posted March 17, 2010 You guys know of any? Can't seem to find much documentation on this motherboard to answer my question.... ASUS P5LP.
Soundy 1 Posted March 17, 2010 ASUS's website doesn't even list that motherboard... you sure that's the right model number? Anyway, the pins you're looking for are labeled either RESET or RST on every motherboard I've ever seen... IF they're labeled.
bpzle 0 Posted March 17, 2010 It goes in a HP A1214N. I was looking for jumpers labeled something like that... for something that would make sense... Can't remember what the jumpers said off hand, I'll look again tomorrow at the only options and post them. Thanks!
Soundy 1 Posted March 17, 2010 What socket/chip is in this machine? I found listings for several SIMILAR board model numbers... but not that one specifically. If you can, download and run SIW (http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html) - it will give you plenty of details on the board make/model info. But based on numerous ASUS boards I've installed over the years, I've never seen those pins labeled anything but RESET.
