Streaming Axis MJPEG to VLC

I have an Axis 223M and am working on a video comparison for a customer and want to view the MJPEG stream using VLC media player.

 

I can access the MPEG4 stream with out issue using10.47.47.19:554/mpeg4/media.amp however when I switch to 10.47.47.19:554/mjpeg/media.amp or 10.47.47.19:554/jpeg/media.amp I do not receive anything.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try using RTSP

Don't use port 554 for motion-jpeg. Don't use rtsp for motion-jpeg. I suppose some cameras stream mjpeg over rtsp, but it's pretty weird. Usually, mjpeg is done over http, port 80.
