imthirsty10 0 Posted March 19, 2010 hi i just got this system brand new after hours of setting it up, i changed the default AP password typed new password confirmed new password saved but since then my new password doesnt work and neither does my old password (i mean the default password) what happened?? how can i reset the password/dvr? please help! since the dvr came as a set with 4 cameras, it would be too much hassle to send it back to the manufacturer as this would require pulling out all the cameras which took hours to install Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
scorpion 0 Posted March 20, 2010 Do you have a camera? Perhaps you can take a picture of the inside. There might be two pins that are close together. IF it had a hardware reset then you would pull the plug from the DVR till it is completely powered down. You would short the two pins with a screwdriver, and then you would plug the power back in, and you would hold it till the last beep when it is starting.
