Vmax 4500g - By Digital Watchdog

First Post. (GREAT forum and members by the way) People here are way too kind.

I'm somewhat new to the business but anyhow, I was at ADI yesterday and saw a new Vmax DVR by digital watchdog.

I want to use this for, what will be my first official Job, working by myself. It's for a barber shop. It's a very busy barber shop, the busiest I've ever seen.

 

The owner want's a minimum of 3 cams, one of them will be facing the front door and seating area. It will be about 8-9ft High and about 7-10 ft from the front door.

 

The other will be way in the back of the shop looking at a 15-20ft by 10ft area.

 

and the last one will be facing the back door, almost in your face as you walk in. About 2-4 ft from your face to the right.

 

My plans so far are to use the CNB Mona Lisa Dome cameras for all 3. (i'm Thinking about going cheaper for the back door because it's so close.)

 

Anyway, what are your thoughts so far, at least about the Vmax DVR. ADI told me its a brand new product that they havent even sold yet, so they have no feedback on it, but they said that digital watchdog is a good company.
