HELP, Acti acm-1231 has no IP address after reset.

Acti ACM-1231.

I did RESET by holding RESET button for 10 sec. After that camera has no ip address.

It should be something with 192.168.0.x, I have connected camera to my network and directly to my computer,

with nmap -sP 192.168.0.0/24 searched for device, but nothing..

 

Ethernet interface lights are both ON and orange light is blinking.

 

Has anyone experience with this camera?

 

Btw, also blue LED behind camera is blinking.

It's not that it doesn't have an IP address... it's that it's changed and you don't know what it is. I ran into the same problem on my first ACTi...

 

Download the ACTi IP Utility off this page to help you find it: http://www.acti.com/product/support/ACTi_Utility_Suite

 

You'll need to make a log in to their site to download, stupid I know. This utility should come on the discs in the box but it doesn't...

Do you have any NVR software like Luxriot, Excaq? Do a search in them, they might find. Or like he says, use ACTi camera utility. Are you on the same subnet?
