wirefox 0 Posted April 7, 2010 Forgive my noobness, but have basically worked with just AXIS cameras. I was looking into a AV3110 and saw that I had to buy the lens separately. I did not experience that with AXIS cameras and just thought a basic lens came with a camera purchase and that it was just an option to buy a better one if one preferred. So is that just an Arecont thing where you have to buy the lens separately or is that a standard in general for camera purchases?
Harrar 0 Posted April 7, 2010 Pretty much standard. You pick the lens that best suits your particular application.
wirefox 0 Posted April 8, 2010 Thanks Harrar, I was wondering why comparable AXIS cameras cost more and I suppose that is because the lens is already included.
