ThomGAnderson 0 Posted April 27, 2010 Hi, First post here, I've recently bought a secondhand 16Channel Rack by LJD. - it has XP embedded, I have no installation software, the built in pre-installed soft is not working as it should, freezing up and corrupting my database, also the remote viewing is acting up. How can I re-install this software or can someone point me to a alternative that will work good with this type of setup, if I use my 4 capture cards and put them in a standard desktop with with a regular XP is there a free solution? Thanks for reading, Thomas.

ThomGAnderson 0 Posted April 28, 2010 The system boots very slow, upon boot intizialing cards windows takes forever, borsdrv.dll not found message, sometimes restarting will fix this but when the software loads, all camera's appear to be often frozen. I cleared out old database to make room but performance is dreadfull. I think one of the hard disks may be at fault, there are 2 in the system. Thom.

Hi Thom. its not HD it gets a bit long winded to explain on the forum. you need to empty all folders with the vshell pass word then you need to creat a new video data base. and that sould sort your problem. if you have problems with it i have pm you my number.
