Beeping Avtech 760

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've read pretty much every post about Avtech 760, and found one guy who got a beeping 760 because of a fan that fried his power board.

Power went out today and when it came on again, the 760 was beeping frantically and no LED's were on.

Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, with no luck. Also tried disconnecting all cams and the HD, in case that was the issue.

The fan had also stopped working. Did parts of the power board die on me?

Remove your hard drive and see if your unit will work.

If yes replace the hard drive if no then >

Go to a computer store and ask for a universal power adapter (19volt). Find the tip that matches your DVR.

If it works then it was just the external power supply.

If it does not work, then you may have more problems then it may b worth fixing.

Try a hardware reset
