dieselboy 0 Posted May 4, 2010 Hello everybody, I'm having problems with my surveillance system. It's a brandnew computer with a Geovision 1480 card with 3 camera's installed. Live viewing is no problem, everything runs smooth. But recorded videos by motion detect stutter. Sometimes the video freezes but the playbar runs smooth. When I slide the bar manually trough the video, a Geovision image appears at the place where the video freezes. Somebody any suggestions? Kind Regards, Philippe
rory 0 Posted May 4, 2010 What software version is it? Did you get the card from a legit supplier? (make sure it is not a clone) Is the motherboard an Intel, AMD, Nvidea, or SIS, etc, chipset? Is everything set on motion detection? What is the Source type (640x480 deinterlace, 720x480, etc)? What type of cameras?
Todd 0 Posted May 5, 2010 Had this happen with 4 systems. It was bad hard drives. Changed to Western digital Blacks and all seems to work fine now.
