When I take out the sata hard drive from the dvr and take it away to view it, I place it into a docking station that's when my problems begin as it won't read the drive, I bought the docking station to do this but it won't, is there a way round this using a different driver as it worked once. danger_e 0 Posted May 7, 2010 David, I would need a bit more information for this: What kind of DVR is this? What exactly does your PC do when you put the drive in the docking station? (Does it say "Cannot Read Drive?" Does it do anything? Can you hear/feel the drive spin up?) This might allow us to diagnose where the issue is. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
