heloder 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Argus - SysTek They are good for home use, but remote and stability are big problems.
bob the b 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Are they Argus, are they unreliable as the lan capability is needed?
bob the b 0 Posted April 29, 2005 How about this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5770334035&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=
Powertelecomm 0 Posted April 29, 2005 They are from the same manufacturer. However, even though they list the units to be 8-ch DVRs, I think a 4-CH picture was used on the first link and 16-CH picture on the second link.
bob the b 0 Posted April 29, 2005 I noticed that too! I'm getting tired of looking now, what i need is....... 8 channel, video loop through, decent hard drive(250 gig) with the ability to add another.overwrite hdd when full, motion detection, auto boot on power fail, usb or firewire connections, ethernet connections for lan/wan,support dynamic ip,ir remote,at least 2 channel audio. Does it exist and work reliably?
rory 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Yeah, the WebGate, or the Hunt, same thing. WebGate makes it, 60-240fps.
FredB 0 Posted April 30, 2005 New DVR on HUNT's Web site. Did not see the web gate one anymore. http://huntcctv.com/HTR-16%209%204.htm As, Rory said, the Web gate one has all those things. Only 1 channel audio though. Great DVR. http://wisemicro.com/XT608.htm What's the web address to Webgate anyway.
rory 0 Posted April 30, 2005 hunts: http://huntcctv.com/DVR%20stand%20alone.htm http://www.webgateinc.com/wgi_htdocs/eng/main.html He would need the 16 channel to get 240fps though, just use 8 channels. http://huntcctv.com/HVR-16Q.htm Also, im going to get pricing on their Network DVR and Cameras, and Servers also, so I can maybe start a Video Monitoring Station down here, their products will work for that according to the specs, and hopefully not too expensive .. Ill probably offer 3 Station Systems, the GE to target those already with the GE Dvrs or want the name, the Iview PC based for those that want all those features, and the WebGate for the plug play stand alone servers, cameras, etc... dont know how its going to work yet but thinking at least 1 PC per Station type for now. The WebGate DVR system monitors/records 108 channels from the network, not bad. They also have some hybrid systems.
