GV650 and HP 8000 Elite PC??

I have problems installing drivers on my computer (HP 8000 Elite)!

Sound driver won't install!

Have exclamation on GV650(s) Audio #A and #B

Error code 10. This device cannot start

 

Is this a compatibility issue??

try changing the PCI slot to another.

If that doesn't help, check the card in a nother PC.

If the card is ok, reinstal the drivers.

What version of software do you use?

Is your card genuine?

 

AFAIK this sould not affect the system, you still should be able to record viedo.

The card is god, it works on older PC!

I tried in couple new HP machines, same error!

i reinstall drivers countless times, also fresh installation of XP SP2 and SP3.

Also i try every slot in PC, it was the same and i shut down almost every device in BIOS that i don't use!

Yeah first question is the card genuine?

If not then even though it works in other PCs, the drivers are hacked and can have undesirable effects on some computers or chipsets. Seeing as thats an Intel Chipset but a Q45, check the chipsets of the other PCs you tried it in, perhaps they are older ones. Hacked drivers might not work on the newer chipsets.

 

if it is really a genuine card then perhaps its a compatibility issue with something else on that PC, or the motherboard, as it is probably a customized bios by HP as well. Also make sure it is the right firmware etc, if its an older card, cannot use 8.3 for example.

How can i figure out if card is genuine or not?

I used driver from version 8.12 i have original CD with software!

send us a photo of the card,

does it have hologram on it ?

does it have serial number ?

try registering your card on geovision website, they will tell you if it is genuine or not.
