suggested cable for long distance

hello im just newbie in this field i just wanna ask what kind of cables required to run a 16chanel camera with a 100 meters distance from its dvr.. tnx

100m is nothing extreme - RG59 for video, 18/2 for power... or one run of Cat5e with baluns, use one pair for video and the other three for power. Bing, bang, boom.

can i also join the audio on the cat5e cable, would it not cause some interference to the video or vise versa....?. thanks for the reply..

You could, with the appropriate balun, but only two pairs would be left for power - at 12VDC that would be marginal, especially if these cameras have IR LEDs built-in.

just a follow up question do i also need to put a balun for the audio?

is there a rg59 that has wires for audio video and power that could run this long. thnx very much for the help..

RG 59 Siamese has video (RG59) and power (18/2).

Audio you can run telephone cable if you want. (eg. standard 2 pair alarm wire)
