Hikvision stream media server

I got a copy of this software and tried to experiment with it. I tried to stream video from my hikvision pc-dvr but could not get it to work. Anybody here have experience with this software?

This software is suitable if you have a lot of streams to your dvr or IP camera(not sure if it works with capture cards).You can use it when connecting with ivms-4000 client software only.
