cctv_down_under 0 Posted May 26, 2010 I have a problem with a dvr that is windows 7 - the view log only shows video as green squares, I have tried the following. Using the remote viewlog on the DVR itself - same problem Using the rmote viewlog on another non windows pc - works fine. Running codec reg on the DVR - same problem I tried downloading the codec from the web viewer download page - but noticed that it fails to run the codec.exe. Is this a Windows 7 issue, pretty sure it is as the web viewer and multiview all work ok
rory 0 Posted May 26, 2010 is this the Remote Viewlog or the actual DVR view log? Also, what version DVR software, what version Multiview and Remote Viewlog software, and is it the DVR that is Win7 only, or what OS is on the client computers? Is every user an Admin? Ted 0 Posted May 26, 2010 I had this problem when viewing in windows media player but under XP. Open the Windows Media Player, go to Options, click performance. Reduce video acceleration, you may have to reduce to minimum.
cctv_down_under 0 Posted May 27, 2010 The DVR is Windows 7 the clients were XP - the version is 8.31 I have resolved the issue by re-installing the software, seems the codec install got corrupted
tommyt 0 Posted May 28, 2010 Yes, I have had a similar issue on a WIN7 client - codec issues usually lead to green screens.
