Hundidiot 0 Posted June 2, 2010 Hi! Can someone please help me? I have a problem with this dvr. I have installed the software and updated it and it finds the unit but it´s impossible to login via LAN. There is no problem accessing the unit the normal way via the front. I´m trying to transfer the recordings showing when young criminals are breaking into a vending machine in my friends store. I have asked a professional at a pc clinic if he could access the material but he gets the same result: "Connection Error". It seems as if the password might be incorrect perhaps but my friend claim they have not changed it. I can´t find any place at the web site of Avtech where I can send them an email to get support. Can I put the hard disc drive in my computer and access the recordings this way? So does anybody have a solution for this problem? scorpion 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Hello. You cannot put the hard drive in to the computer. you may even ruin the video that is on the hard drive. I would record the video to a VCR, or a DVD recorder connected to the monitor out.
