mike9313 0 Posted July 19, 2010 Hello, I have a 4-channel GE StoreSafe pro II running ver. 6.2. The unit was stored for about 1 ½ years and was recently powered up. I cannot access the menu with the default password 4111 and the date is showing 1/1/1960. The password was never changed while in use. The battery was dead so I replaced it. What are the procedures to restore the unit to the default settings? I did find some valuable links within this forum to the downloader software and firmware. Downloader is installed on my PC, but I need a valid IP address to the StoreSafe. I connected the StoreSafe to my router and then accessed my router to see if I could determine the IP address, but no such luck. I believe the network is disabled on StoreSafe.
