aries2518 0 Posted July 22, 2010 How can I stream audio over internet using AVTECH 790? The microphone, tested, is connected to audio input port properly. On AVTech VideoViewer program I selected Video/Audio properly too, but there was no audio. The Video can be streamed without problem. Please, Any suggestion? Can you log on to the DVR remotely through the Internet Explorer? Umm, Yes. using xxxxx.dyndns.org:8080. If I just use xxxxx.dyndns.org, I will get router login screen instead. CHOPRAMO 0 Posted July 24, 2010 OK Great. Go to the DVR and press "slow" and "zoom" at the same time to select live audio. Log on to the DVR through the IE and select the speaker Icon. Select the channel which has audio attached with it and ideally you should hear audio.
aries2518 0 Posted July 28, 2010 OK Great. Go to the DVR and press "slow" and "zoom" at the same time to select live audio. Log on to the DVR through the IE and select the speaker Icon. Select the channel which has audio attached with it and ideally you should hear audio. Do I just have to press "slow" and "zoom" buttons at the same time to activate audio streamming function and that's it. Or do I have to select anything else from the screen because there is no VGA out on this model. There is just one audio input on this model, Is that suppose to mean I can select any video channel and I can still hear the sound from the microphone. Am I right? And do you know where I can download User Manual for this model (AVC-790).
CHOPRAMO 0 Posted July 29, 2010 Just press zoom and slow together. You can hear the audio along with any camera that is connected to port no. 1.
aries2518 0 Posted August 1, 2010 Finally, I got someone to go to the DVR and press zoom and slow together, I was at the remote site on screen it showed to me like... Admin Password X X X X Am I supposed to input admin password, but I didn't know how. I can only view OSD via AVTECH Videoviewer program since there is no VGA out port and any port for keyboard. Could you help more, thank in advance..... PS. I found out it was a Key lock function but how do I input admin password to disable it.
scorpion 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Press the enter button four times and this should get you in to the menu unless someone has changed the password then you will need to enter the new password number. manual http://scorpiontheater.tech.officelive.com/Documents/AVTech_Manual_English_KPD673_672_671_670_manual_V1.1.pdf
aries2518 0 Posted August 3, 2010 Finally, I can enable audio streaming, there is a blue speaker on the OSD. Unfortunately, I still cannot hear anything, I guess because I just use regular PC microphone connect to DVR via adapter (mini stereo 3.5" female to RCA male adapter). However, if I connected MP3 player to the DVR via this adapter, I could hear music perfectly. Do I need preamp?
scorpion 0 Posted August 4, 2010 yes you will need a preamp. You will also need to connect to the audio out to verify that you have audio before testing from a remote location. http://eclipsecctv.com/ECL-MIC_microphone.html or you would use a camera that has a microphone that is built in. check you local laws as you can record video to your hearts content, and you can be arrested for a felony for recording audio depending on the situation, and the location of the microphone. aries2518 0 Posted August 5, 2010 Thank you for your concern. As far as I know, I record audio legitimately at my own store. I found two microphone, the first one... As you can see, there is a power cord, does this mean it has a built-in preamp? And the second one... This one is a lot cheaper, but I don't know how to connect it to the DVR or camera, could you suggest?
