Logical upgrade from Speco DVR-8TN?

What would be the next logical step up from a Speco DVR-8TN?

 

It's having some issues and needs to be sent in for repair so thinking of just upgrading, and then sending it in for repair and selling it.

 

It's used at a residence with 8 Nuvico bullet cameras.

(Previous model of CB-HD39N-L)

 

Looking for a recommendation for analog and hybrid, say $1500-$2000 street price for an analog and $2000-$3000 for a hybrid.

 

I have experience with Intellicam/Gen 4 so thinking a Gen 4 RTA would be a small upgrade but looking for other ideas.
