victor00 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Hello, I'm doing cctv project for the business premises with large car park (250x150m) 3 PTZ cameras mounted on light poles, five PTZ cameras mounted on the facade, a few fixed cameras. I wonder how high to mount the camera on light poles? how high on the facade?. Please your suggestions and experiences. Soundy 1 Posted August 2, 2010 Height depends on a number of factors when it comes to your needs. If you need to see license plates, keep in mind that the higher you go, the sharper the angle and the harder the plates will be to read. You'll have to make sure to go high enough to clear obstacles as well, including mobile obstacles like large trucks, campers, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
