Marcusl 0 Posted May 12, 2005 I am sure I am not totally alone in saying this but, WTF kind of name is octar for a dvr? Sounds like the name of a creature on Star Trek or something... "Captain, the octar can only be defeated if you cut it's head off!" How can I access my OCTAR to review recordings remotely? A. All machines with version 2.0 and above are remote access enabled. However, you still need a Remote Access Token for the laptop or Desktop you are using to access the systems. Do you have a manual for the unit? Do you know if they are just using some sort of rebadged software that people would know here? ie. Kodicom, Geovision... etc ?
