AVtech KPD 674 ftp upload still image + quicktime

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I have a KPD 674 system. It all works great, but I have 2 things I can't find a solution for.

First, I want to show still pictures on my website. So I want the DVR to upload JPG pictures to my FTP server every minute. Is there anyway this can be done?

Second, I have 2 Mac mini i'm goiing to use to show the cam image.

If I open in quicktime the following URL: rtsp://192.168.1.10/live/h264, I see a live stream from the first cam. But I want to see 4 cams the same time. Is there a way to show this?

thanks!!

1.kpd 674 cannot upload pictures.

2.quicktime only can see 1 cam at a time.

use active x from ìe to see 4 cam at the same time

Ok, thanks for the reply.

Is there anyway that I can grab the JPEG picture from the cam? I discovered that http://192.168.1.10/cgi-bin/guest/Video.cgi?media=jpeg contains the current jpeg picture. This picture is only 176*144. If I can get a bigger resolution (640*480), then I can use a external server to grab the frames from the KPD674, and upload it to the FTP server.

What do you mean with active x from IE? Is there any documentation on this available?

Thanks alot!

I don't know if you found the answer in other place, if not... Yo can try with this url:

rtsp://192.168.1.10/live/h264/ch01

rtsp://192.168.1.10/live/h264/ch02

rtsp://192.168.1.10/live/h264/ch03

etc

With AVC 798 this method WORKS perfectly. Tell us if it work with your KPD please
