need dvr & camera recomendation with mobile viewing (iPhone

i am impressed with using the iPhone to monitor home surveillance system, we have 3 kids and like to keep an eye on the nanny while away.

 

Can a budget of 600 bucks buy me a solid dvr 8 camera system,

2 outdoor cams with talk back and 6 inside and all in all that works over the net with our ipad or iphones?

That is Exacq software great product and will do exactly what you want but is over your budget.

so what cams and all would i need that cover a 30 foot front yard, 75 foot back yard, 4 rooms inside?

Depends on what your looking for from this system. Do you want to see if some one is out their or do you want to be able to identify the person?

OUTDOORS: We need to watch the front of the house, we have too many kids on the street picking the mail box, removing the names, trying to get into our garage during the night to steal tools., also one talk back system integrated where we can control cameras and sound from the iphone when anyone rings the bell.

 

INDOORS: I like to have a at least one camera that is wireless so we can place it in either of the 2 bigger rooms the kids when they are playing to keep an eye on who did what when fights break out

 

Originally i was thinking of getting a 8 or 4 channel DVR/NVR, 2 outdoor AV cameras, system controlled by iphones, if DVRs can record that great too, motion detection, night vision and talk back for outside sounds cool., having 8 channels allows me to add and move other cameras around indoors, but maybe 4 channels is enough if the cams are easy to move around while keeping receiver connected to DVR, i just worry after reading around that wireless cams are hackable and people can intercept them and invade our privacy, i am new to this so i could be wrong.

 

i can live with one av ptz type camera in the front of the house and just use a wireless for the back or inside to watch the kids.

 

What would you recommend for this type of set up, we are over in Europe.
