mnmstef 0 Posted August 31, 2010 hey everyone im trying to find a way to connect with KPD-674Z through internet from a distant computer but i cant understand how.Someone told me to use dyndns.com for this but i couldn't manage to make that happen for my Video recorder... can someone give me info or atleast give me a link with instructions how to do this? damai7788 0 Posted September 1, 2010 first, try to connect it over lan, is it is okay, then we can try to connect via internet. to connect via internet: 1. make sure you have public ip, if it is not static, you can use dyndns to map your ip to a subdomain name. you have to register to dyndns. 2. have to set your router for port mapping. make sure your dvr port is not blocked by your isp, if blocked, pls change your dvr port. 3. try to connect a few times...
