sineguy 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Does anyone know the 3 digit default password number for the Main Menu on a Baxall Digital Recorder? Thanks.
Blake CCTV 3 Posted September 5, 2010 I don't know the model number of the Baxall DVR but try 347 that works on one of them for sure
sineguy 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Thanks that works. Cheers. I couldn't configure the Baxall for my Vista Multiplexer so hopefully it will record each camera seperately instead of flashing through all of them quick.
sineguy 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Thanks. I have one more question if you are up on the technical bits if not I'll post another querie. My Vista multi-plexer is recording images every 3 secs in tandem with the Baxall recorder. Do you know how to get the multuplexer to record a faster record speed? My Baxall is set to the highest record rate but the clock is ticking along every 3 secs. Cheers.
Blake CCTV 3 Posted September 5, 2010 This is a bit tricky as i am not sitting in front of the machines in question but this might help, I assume that the DVR is a single channel recorder and is basically a replacement for a VCR this being the case you need to set both units to work with each other. They need to syncronise to each other so that when a picture is sent from the multiplexer to the DVR the DVR is ready to receive it, if it isn't ready then it waits for the next picture this will cause a delay. In the old days of VCRs and Multiplexers the multiplexers had a list of supported VCRs for you to choose which one was being used when the multiplexer had this info it would adjust the speed at which it would output its pictures to the VCR for the correct timing. Have a look in the Vista multiplexer menu for such settings. I hope this helps. You could just treat yourself to a nice shiny new DVR which is bascally your two units combined. sineguy 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Hi. Yes it is that problem. I've tried all the multiplexer choices on the Baxall menu but its still the same. It will do for now and I'll save up for a new DVR. Thanks for your help.
