Axis M7001 Covert Kit

Hi,

 

Has anybody use this covert kit yet? I like the fact that it's really small but not sure how the picture quality would be, can someone please share any information on this product? What about connecting an analog camera to it, would any analog camera work or only certain ones? If an analog camera is use with it, can I view the video from my iPhone? I've been googling this product but wasn't able to find answers to any of these questions so I thought I would ask in here first before dropping $400 for one.

Pic qualty is good for a small camera.

 

Any analog with a BNC connector will work.

 

I can view Axis cameras on my IPAD without a problem.

Is the picture color or BW? What is the max resolution on it?
