seiplentz 0 Posted September 18, 2010 Well I just scored 3 of these units from a customer that upgraded. They have some bad hard drives and fans in them. The one I am working on right now appears to work now that the slave drive is unplugged (click of death). So I was able to use the back door password I found to get into it and turn the passwords off but I can't use the web viewer. I can use the network viewer the password I have from the customer works for that but not the web viewer any ideas? DS2P-DX16C-320GB ver 3.1 (135) Also can I replace the master drive and just reboot or do i have to go through the drive swap ive read about with the formatting and copying? seiplentz 0 Posted September 19, 2010 Well after all the messing around i've done i found it. I went into the network viewer then into setup and I was able to change the user password and enable the web viewer and voila it works. This is a pretty nice dvr I currently use a Phillips Divar but I may be switching to one of these once I get an answer about the whole hard drive replacement.
