Is this power ok?

ok my power adaptor has just bust on my DVR box and I dont have a spair here, the one it used is a 12v 4A I have a 12v 600Ma one here can I use this one? I think I have typed the numbers in there right

Hi madkad. you may find it better to wait and replace the power unit with the right size. you can pick them up cheap enough. saves having problems.

Your replacement doesn't put out nearly enough current.

 

You can take pictures of the power supplies if you want and we can look at them and tell you if your reading it right.
